On the first parliamentary day, the Machiavelli Foundation traditionally kicked off the new year with two key players from the House of Representatives.
SP leader Lilian Marijnissen and acting D66 party chairman Rob Jetten spoke about ahead to the coming political year and their own roles therein. The discussion included the new accommodation for the Lower House, the formation process and the governance culture in the Netherlands. The meeting was moderated by Volkskrant yournalist Remco Meijer and RTL reporter Fons Lambie.
