The Machiavelli Foundation will host the traditional campaign leaders’ debate in Nieuwspoort the morning after the parliamentary elections. After a very exciting election night, the party strategists will look back on the past “corona” campaign. Sophie Hermans (VVD), Sjoerd Sjoerdsma (D66), Raymond Knops (CDA), Wijnand Duijvendak (GroenLinks), Maarten Hijink (SP) and Nelleke Vedelaar (PvdA) will discuss the highs and lows of the campaign, led by Remco Meijer, political editor of de Volkskrant. What was the strategy and what goals did the campaign teams have? How did they want to achieve these goals and did they succeed? What is their explanation for the provisional election results?
