In an interview led by RTL reporter Fons Lambie and Volkskrant-journalist Remco Meijer, group chairmen Pieter Heerma (CDA) and Lodewijk Asscher (PvdA) discussed the challenges of the coming political year.<\/p>\n<p>The most important topics were the political response to the corona crisis, the national elections in 2021 and the impact of a polarised debate on democratic decision-making.
